Anglet, known as “La Petite Californie”, boasts 4.5 km of fine sandy surf beaches with views of the Biarritz lighthouse and fabulous sunsets.
At Les Sables d’or, you can also play or watch beach volleyball and beach rugby.

Transport

Address : 1 place de la chapelle 64600 ANGLET : located between the place des 5 cantons and the beaches of the Chambre d’ Amour.

  • Arrival by bus: TxikTxak
    From Bayonne station: Direction Anglet Plages
    Stop: Anglet (Sables) then walk 8 minutes towards Place de la Chapelle.
    From Biarritz station: Direction Anglet plages, Stop: Falaises then walk 50 m towards the roundabout and Spot Sleeping will be on your right.
  • For an arrival by plane : Biarritz Airport at 15 min by car or cab and 30 min by bus (Line to BIARRITZ – Stop: Cité Scolaire then Line to ANGLET PLAGES- Stop: Falaises)
Nature

here are many things to do:

  • Anglet and its beaches (Surf, golf, accrobranches, yoga, equestrian center, Thalassotherapy, halles des 5 cantons …)
  • Biarritz accessible on foot 20 min from the center (The aquarium, cinema, halles district,
  • Bayonne is 5 km away so bus or bike (city with small shops and fortifications)
  • The coastal walk between Bidart and St jean de Luz (car, bus, or bike to go to Bidart THEN HIKE)
  • Visit of St jean de Luz, Ciboure, (car, bus, train or bike at about 30 km)
  • A small tour in the interior with Espelette, Sare, Ainhoa (requires a car) of beautiful hikes to make

BIKE RENTAL possible:
The rate is €8 per bike per day ending at 8pm (we do not rent bikes for evenings and nights).
You will need to let us know in advance and pay before picking up the bike.

Spot Sleeping is ideally located near Biarritz, a radiant and popular city. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of this young, dynamic city, renowned for its beaches, surf culture and elegance.

Louise Bouchet

A very warm, cosy and comfortable place, clean, pleasant to live in, in which one feels very well. Equipped rooms and common areas (large personal storage, kitchen, space for surfboards, laundry …), special mention for the terrace and outdoor spaces!
Perfect location, a few meters from the shops of Anglet (bakery, carrefour, tobacco, laundromat…), bus stations, and only 5 min walk from the ocean, either the beaches of Anglet or Biarritz, your choice!
Respectful, open-minded clients / travelers, very good atmosphere.
A great welcome by the managers of the establishment, Sandrine and Bruno, who are benevolent and full of good advice for the stay.

We appreciated this small hostel near the beach during our 5 days of vacations, we could do everything by foot Biarritz, shopping and beach. The bus is 50 meters away. Cleanliness is impeccable.
Bruno and Sandrine are very friendly and welcoming.

What a treat to have discovered this place! One thing is for sure: I will go back. Another thing is sure: Sandrine and Bruno have a sharp sense of hospitality. The harmony reigns supreme in the place, the decoration is neat and comforting. A real pleasure to share the beautiful sunny terrace with other travelers. Also note that the place is very well located in relation to the beach and the shops. In short, I recommend it a thousand times.

This is my second stay at Spot Sleeping and it still feels great! Since last year, I had only one idea in mind: come back. Sandrine and Bruno are always so good and in a good mood, it’s a pleasure ! The place is always clean, only nice people. Surfers or not, the location will please you, 5 minutes walk from the beach, shops nearby, Biarritz at 20 minutes walk … In short, you get the idea, go for it! 🤙
